Liverpool Biennial and Chinese New Year
Dragonboat Festival (Brindleyplace)
The annual fund-raising event which takes place during June of each year. This involve team representing community groups, organisations and business races head to head in a oriental decorative boat along on Brindleyplace canal in Central Birmingham.
Additional entertainment includes the Chinese Lion Dance.
Chinese New Year
Highlights from the 2012 event "Year of the Dragon" the involve live performances in stage and the line dances involving Dragons & Lions which ended with the fireworks display. Located at the Arcadian at the hear of the Chinese Quarter in Birmingham City Centre.
