
King of the Beats November 2010 Highlights

The Vibe Bar in London was the place for the King of the beats end of year party. This special night returned some of the previous live challenge winners to for a battle of the champions.
In Summary 5 contenders battled it out at London's Vibe Bar for the ultimate champion.
The contenders on the night were:
Da 4orce
Based in London, he battled against 3 other contenders to win the 2nd live challenge in February 2010.
Despite he was known as an emcee and producer, he has become a regular face at each London based challenges when he became a co-host at the live events at the Vibe Bar along with Sparkii Skii.
Recently he was in New York City involved in a special King of the Beats project and meeting some of legendary names in Hip-Hop music over the part 40 years.

Not only Da 4orce is back again to compete for King of the Beats but he was featured on the second King of the Beats released 7 inch record. This was sold on the night.
D'lux Beats
Based in London, he won the 3rd live challenge back in May 2010 to get there he had to battle for the title against 4 other contenders. Recently D'lux was featured on the first King of the Beats released 7 inch record when 300 copies were sold on the August 2010 live challenge and more was in demand since.
Danny Spice
A London based emcee and producer battled against 3 other contenders in August 2010 to win the 5th live challenge,
Jay King & Mack One
A London based producers were the winners of the very first London based live challenge together back in September 2009 (that event was part of the UK tour featuring Mikey D from Main Source). Recently Jay King along with Mack One was featured on the first King of the Beats released 7 inch record when 300 copies were sold on the August 2010 live challenge and more was in demand since.
Myke Forte
He was the first contender who is not from London not only to compete but to win a live challenge in the London zone. Myke representing the Midlands from Birmingham battled against 3 other contenders from London to win the 4th Live London Challenge in June 2010.
XL from Plymouth was also planned to compete was unable to attend.
The night started with live mixes from DJ Devastate along with Dee Jay Random getting ready or his exclusive set with his Steel Devils Crew.
As always Tha 4orce on night to warm up the jam before them main event begins. Sparkii Skii started the proceedings with live freestyle session using Sparkii's exclusive produced instrumental beats.
The ultimate battle started with the ultimate beat challenge with battle of the champions. The contender played live their completed produced instrumental beats from the records they brought as part of the challenge. The records brought by all contenders was put onto the challenge. Only one contender will win the all entire collection of records from all contenders.
While judging was deciding on who will win, an exclusive set was provided by
The Steel Devils.
The winner was announced and the ultimate champion goes to Myke Forte.
Myke from representing the Midlands from Birmingham broke already broke ground back the first contender not from London to win a London based challenge. Now Myke has beaten all previous winners who are represented from London for the ultimate title.
On the night a raffle was made for one person to win an exclusive large illustration of the the Hip-Hop legend Marley Marl. There are only two copies this painting anywhere in the world one is with Marley Marl (this was presented by Pritt in his recent New York visit) and other was the winner a special raffle who attended king of the beats end of year party. Special presentations was made, a specially framed 2nd kotb record produced by Tha 4orce with his special dedication of Marley Marl. The special from the king of the beats record was presented to Tha 4orce and the Manager or The Vibe Bar - Chris Lewis.
The Steel Devils continued the night with a special set dedicated to Marley Marl.
Since September 2009, 6 live london based challenges and the end of year party ended a successful year for King of the Beats.
